Does anybody take Megan Fox seriously as an actress?

Does anybody take Megan Fox seriously as an actress?
I mean she's very pretty, but all the movies she's in seem to be about showing off her body, not any acting talent.

    No, she has no acting talent. She looks like an over painted and made up porn star. She wears more make-up than anyone I've seen and has a doctor on set that injects her with botox.

    She's an okay actress , but she'll get better. But I personally think all her roles are about showing off her beauty.And that's probably why men watch her movies.

    that's what most actresses do ... use their looks to get where they have to go, even if they do have talent. as far as im concerned, as long as people are willing to pay to sit through the movies she's in.. she's as good as an actress can get.

    Nobody is paying anyone in Hollywood to be "actors." They are hired and paid to be sex symbols. Both female and male alike. Most people on TV couldn't act their way out of a wet paper bag. The people that are considered to be great actors aren't necessarily good looking. i.e. Giovanni Rabissi, Alan Rickman, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Steve Buschemi, Ben Foster, Ellen Page, the list goes on and on. Not to say they are not attractive people, that's just not why they are hired.It's a twisted industry. Believe me. I will say this also. Talent is not a guarantee to a career. The hierarchy to getting hired is as follows;1) Who do you know?2) How do you look?3) How marketable are you?4) Is he/she talented? Source(s): Experience

    You haven't seen all movies Megan Fox has been in...?She is young and developing in this industry, look at the old movies other actresses did, ALOT of them showed off their body and many of them had to do sex scenes just to make it into the big time. A PERFECT example would be Angelina, just look at some of her old movies, she couldn't keep her clothes on (and has been in a no clothes sex scene), but she developed into one of the greatest actresses of all time.I'm just saying give her some time...

    I couldn't agree more, we can't really judge her in transformers as she was just bending over, no matter how sexy it is. Hope and faith which was s***. Michael bay could have made her character so much more but he just wanted to help her career by being a sex symbol. I will only judge her acting after jennifer's body later this year and jonah hex as she will have played more serious roles. Source(s): This is what acting has become today.

    I hope not... You're exactly right. Even though I think she's pretty, I have no respect for her. She's not smart or talented; she just gets attention for her looks.
