What do you think of Megan Fox potentially playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

What do you think of Megan Fox potentially playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer?
And Joss Whedon not being involved?

Gotta say, I'm really pissed about this one.

    she may be "hot" (word used loosely) but she's a horrible actress.and honestly, in 5 years, she's going to be repulsive.if she does play buffy, the movie with bomb.

    Yet another case of HollyWeird trying to re-hash something that been done already, and casting the "flavor-of-the-moment" actors. Nothing new, and no surprise.

    THAT WOULD SUCK! I like Megan Fox but I think that Sarah Michelle Gellar was the best Buffy and I can't see anyone else playing Buffy but SMG. And Joss Whedon was the Buffy Man. He made Buffy a hit. The movie wasn't very good but the show was phenomenal.

    Hum..lets think back to when they first told us that a brown haired (sometimes red headed Michelle Geller) would be the "new" Buffy when all of us knew that Buffy was in fact was a very blond K.Swanson. It was hard to imagine then as well. I think Megan Fox is a beauty and I dont agree that he is a HORRIBLE actress...lol just certainly not on the the same level or league as Michelle. But then again, Michelle wasn't in the same league as the Michelle Geller we know and love today. My point is, peoples talents progress as they do more movies and get more work. Who is to say that this new lady would not make an excellent Buffy once she dyes her hair and finds her inner cheerleader? She already has the Darker Buffy feel as can be seen in the transformer movies. The only thing that would throw me off for a second if that is she seems to be so tall. I always imagine Buffy as a petite (never she her coming) type of power house. Megan seems powerful for sure but she reminds me more of a faith then a petite Buffy. I think they could find someone who embodies the character a little better over all although I would not be terribly mad if in the end it was a beauty like Megan...at least they didn't get an ugly chick...lol then who would have believed it?hey, what about that actress in the traveling pants 1 & 2...the blond one??? She has my vote..just because i just saw the movie.     Best Answer - Chosen by Voters It's all just a rumor that she is Roy Lee says "The rumors of Megan Fox being involved with Buffy are just rumors. As with any film project with a female lead under the age of 30, Megan is the actress that most studios want so it is no surprise her name is mentioned. While I think she would be great for our project, we are still in the early stages of developing the script." I think the fact that Joss Whedon is not involved is going to make it a total disaster. As Anthony Stewart Head says "The bottom line is if a movie was ever to be made, it should be made with Joss Whedon, whether it’s a retrospective or not. But it would be madness to do it without him. [The Kazuis] have the rights to because they have the rights to the original movie, but it should be interesting to see.
