Why does Megan Fox not have a southern accent?
When she was born and lived in Tennessee and then in Florida, both southern states.

    Not a lot of people from Florida have an accent..She probably didn't live in Tenn very long.

    I dunno. I guess she adopted the northern accent when she was older. I kind of wish she did have the southern accent...it would be so damn sexy.

    Maybe she worked on it to further her career. Are her parents originally from the South? If her parents don't have an accent, then maybe that explains it.

    Best Answer - Chosen by Voters Not everyone receives the accent of their hometown or area. I've lived in the south all of my life and yet people today ask me if I'm from Illinois or that region of the United States because I have no accent.
